Meet the people behind Once Upon A Card.

About Us

We made this game because we wanted to explore a roguelike concept where the player isn’t just reacting to the dungeon, but actively shaping it.

Most roguelikes focus on combat or builds, but very few let you design the path, the rooms, and the structure of the run itself. By combining puzzle logic, tactical decisions, and deckbuilding, we wanted to give players a strong sense of control and creativity. Every card becomes a meaningful choice, every tile changes the run, and every room is a direct result of the player’s strategy.

Our goal is to build a system that feels fresh, replayable, and deeply satisfying.
